I have been searching for a really good hotdog place and I came across this location by accident. The food is amazing! I got a hotdog dress like a Chicago dog and it was delicious. The french fries was fresh and crispy, the Asian slaw was perfect, and the hotdog was grilled to perfection. The sodas come in cans and they are extra cold and hit the spot I can’t wait to go back. I will definitely become a regular.
Tucked away only half a block in from Beach is Bay Street Dawgs. Superior quality and reasonably priced. My daughter told me about this place and I was excited to try them out. My first time I had a dawg with spicey mustard and saurkraut. My go-to favorite since childhood. When my food arrived it was better than I had imagined on a perfectly toasted bun. Delicious! I returned the next day to grab a dawg and fries at lunchtime. There are picnic tables on the back patio with umbrellas for shade and jazz music playing. Would highly recommend Bay Street Dawgs.
This place is AMAZING. I'd rate it higher if I could! Top notch cleanliness, service, atmosphere (you'll see when you go out back!), and above all, the food! My hubby and I shared a Seafood Roll that they were kind enough to split for us, with individual butters, without our even asking! Every bite was tender and juicy, cooked absolutely perfect. That bread it's on is the perfect combo! 872/10 I will be getting this weekly. Hubby had The Jack. "It's a solid chili dog. Really good! Not too cheesy, and the chili has a nice bite. The dog and bread all go great together. Fries were pretty good, perfectly crispy. Not too much salt." I had The Junkyard Dog. Everything was proportioned just right. The chili is perfect "chili dog" consistency. The coleslaw was spicy!!!! I definitely wasn't expecting that heat! Hubby liked it though! This is definitely going to become a regular lunch spot for us! We highly recommend you stop by! Me and the family were in town for spring break and we found Bay Street Dogs and were excited to try as we love a good dog. We went around 4 pm and it was not busy at all. We ordered and waited on the patio for our food. The patio is super clean along with the restrooms (my wife loves a good clean restroom!). The food was cooked to order and it was great!! The only thing i did not think was amazing was the steak fries. I prefer a shoestring type. But hey a fry is a fry. The staff was friendly and they also serve beer. We’ll be back again next year!
Excellent food and excellent service. Best hot dog I had in a while. I’m used to low class, struggling hot dogs. This was high class, gourmet, college educated, and emotionally stable hot dog. I think I had the Jack, it came with chili and onion. Definitely suggest you visit it. Also, had the brownie too. It was thick and good!
We were on our way to seafood and spotted this little gem. I'm so glad we did!! So delicious! I had the surfs up dawg and my husband had the jack. We also got zucchini fries. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The back seating fills up quick so don't wait!

Bay Street Dawgs is the cutest lunch spot in Daytona! The New England-style hot dogs and juicy steamed cheeseburgers are out of this world, especially with their amazing housemade toppings.
